Safety and survival equipment specialist Survitec Group has acquired for £31M ($48M) the Marine Division of Cosalt pic, including Cosalt International, Cosalt Seguridad Maritima SL, Cosalt GmbH, Cosalt NV and Cosalt BV. Cosalt Marine is a major distributor and service agent for Survitec's branded liferafts worldwide. Its integration into the Survitec group is expected to improve the service offering provided to its customers in the UK and elsewhere in Europe.
