Tim Wickmann is, as he readily admits, a happy man. The 43-year-old CEO of MCC Transport is convinced that he has one of the liner industry's most satisfying jobs. "I think intra-Asia shipping is the most exciting market in the world," he tells IHS Maritime. "There are just so many port and service options and other variables. I've been doing this for six years and every year has been challenging in a different way. "This year the oil price has changed drastically, which gives a very different market dynamic than we've seen before. Last year we had port congestion that was easily the worst I've seen in almost 25 years of shipping.
