摘要

The substantial growth of Colombia's oil exploration and crude export businesses in the past half-decade has been largely driven by the Pacific Rubiales Energy Group (PREG), with its specialist knowledge of heavy-crude production and handling. Now, PREG is entering other markets in Colombia via newly formed subsidiaries such as Pacific Coal, Pacific Stone and Pacific Infrastructure, among others. Pacific Infrastructure president and CEO Juan Ricardo Noero explained to IHS Fairplay that 40% of the company was owned by PREG, 27% by the World Bank's International Finance Corporation, 20% by Blue Pacific Assets, and the remaining 13% by local investors.
