Nick Haslam has been appointed as shipping chief for London Offshore Consultants (LOC). CEO Andrew Squire said Haslam's "new global role will involve working closely with the four regional directors in developing shipping services" within the group. "These will include traditional P&I activities, hull and machinery work, and new business streams," he added. Haslam joined LOC in 1997 and was a director of LOC London before becoming managing director in 2008 of LOC in Singapore, the second-largest of the group's 27 offices worldwide.
