In anticipation of higher cabotage trade, 'K' Line says it will beef up its focus on logistics and supply chain operations, particularly in the Malacca Strait and a number of Southeast Asian countries. "Economic developments in these areas bring huge demand for logistics, in automobile, steel products, electronics, and agricultural industries. We'll see a lot of activity [this] year," said Norihiko Fujii, general manager of'K' Line's business promotion group.
