Grant Gilfillan, CEO of Australia's Sydney Ports Corporation, has replaced Gary Webb as CEO of the soon-to-be-privatised Newcastle Port Corporation. The state premier also announced Nicholas Whitlam is to replace the outgoing chairman of Newcastle Port Corporation, Paul Jeans. The reshuffle at the top of one of the world's biggest coal ports came as it was announced that Newcastle would follow Sydney's Port Botany and Wollongong's Port Kembla as the latest state assets up for privatisation next year.
