Over the past 17 years, Jeppesen has transformed from a marine chart provider to an e-navigation partner, supported by integrated solutions and professional services. This direction allows the company to stay ahead and to help the industry manage the ECDIS revolution."One interesting impact of the ECDIS mandate is that it validates the concept of electronic navigation in a very traditional and conservative industry," explains Jeppesen Marine Industry Relations Specialist, Jeremy Langdon.But developing new technology is just one of the ways that the company has charted its path in the marine world. A holistic approach enabled by integrated products and solutions has also been key, in addition to an active role in developing industry best practices.
