DHL have opened a 'fashion and apparel centre of excellence' in the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh, to help customers in the sector there as Cambodia's economy upgrades at speed. The centre, while not a new concept for countries with labour-intensive industries, is eye-catching in Cambodia (where the textile trade was valued at just under $3Bn last year, when it grew 25%), showing, as it does, the need for value-added premium services rather than 'plain vanilla' transportation.
