In theory, the revival of domestic demand for imports and the boost in global demand for com-modity export flows should be great for revenues, profits and equity values of the Russian ports, shipping and logistics companies - both by sea and land. However, the record is patchy. Overall last year, the Russian Seaports Association said the volume of cargo handled in 2010 came to 525.8M tonnes, a growth rate of 5.9%, that is little better than CDP growth.
