Camillo Eitzen (CECO), the listed Norwegian shipping group, surprised commentators this month when it unveiled its exit from semi-refrigerated gas carrier trades. The departure followed its 2010 retreat from dry bulk shipping and the sale of 40% of its ethylene carrier business. In the near to medium term, the company will nurture its investment in Eitzen Chemical, Eitzen Maritime Services' CEO Peter D Knudsen told Fairplay.
