A word of advice to Greek founders of US-listed companies: Do yourself a favour and refrain from reading your stock's Yahoo Finance message board. Do you really want to know that you're being publicly described by your own investors as "a thieving, lying [expletive deleted]", a "boob", a "bozo", a "[expletive deleted) crook"? That your stock is being ridiculed as "dead money", a "farce", a "wasteland", an "abandoned circus"? This has been a summer of extreme discontent for shipping's bedraggled retail investors. Stocks have slumped to new depths after three years of pain and dilution -topped off by a huge sell-off this month.
