The success of Philippines-based International Container Terminal Services Inc (ICTSI) in winning a 30-year contract in March this year to operate a container terminal at Croatia's port of Rijeka has led to dynamic change at the facility. A new chief executive officer has been appointed and landmark contracts have been signed, such as one with the Croatian railway operator Hrvatske Zeljeznice (HZ) in August.
