While Australian crude oil exports are providing good returns for Aframax operators, market growth will be limited unless cargo volumes surge.Singapore-based Ocean Tankers confirmed to Fairplay that Australian crude shipments are keeping its Aframaxes employed. "We see refineries in the region diversifying their crude sources to reduce reliance on the Middle East. Cost-wise, it makes sense for them because of the shorter voyages," said Ocean Tankers.
