Anecdotal evidence from brokers, supported by a falling number of completed transactions reported, suggests availability of finance is having an impact on the sale and purchase business. In the Far East, Korean buyers, who were relatively active in the first half of the year, have largely withdrawn from the market for competitive sales and brokers report a lull in enquiries as banks and leasing companies reassess their positions in the light of wider concerns regarding the global economy.
