Outlook: The Baltic Capesize Index lost 36% of its value during the past week (down 1,142 points). In the Atlantic, the Brazil-China trades are reported to have reached $22.00/tonne, a level which some suggest might bring out some cargoes from Vale. The 'floor' in rates opined by some has weakened further with Western Australia to China rates settling at $9.50/tonne.
