The sudden resignation of AP M0ller-Maersk CFO S0ren Thorup Sorensen due to ill-health comes hot on the heels of a depressing 1Q marred by financial loss and organisational upheaval - perhaps enough to make the entire group wish it could retire to its sick bed until prospects brighten up.rn"After almost three years, I have to realise that the heavy workload has been damaging to my health," a statement from Sorensen said. Tellingly, he added:"the timing seems right after the annual report and the 1Q announcement."
