Jon egil Johnsen is inheriting as much of a taxes headache as new managing director of the Norwegian Shipowners'Association as his predecessor Marianne Lie is giving up. Her departure from the NSA helm after seven years (Fairplay Daily News 17 January) merely highlights more darkly an issue that has plagued ties between Norwegian owners and the government since 1996.
