Stxhi and Samsung have togetherwon a contract for a 350,000dwt floating storage unitfroma Middle East owner. Contract price is reported as 500Bn won ($414.4M). Stx Shipbuilding reported to the South KoreanStock Exchange that it has won an order for two bulkers worth 161.6Bn won($118M)from an Asian owner,fbr delivery by December 2011. Exxonmobil is in talks with yards to build LNG carriers for export of gasfrom Papua New Guinea.Orders are likely to be placed next year when ship capacity is decided upon.
