While the world's attention was fixed on the Greek ferry casualty, 20 crew were killed across the world off China. Both deserve close scrutiny. It is too early to speculate on the events that led to last Friday's sinking of the Greek ferry Sea Diamond, which ran aground the day before. But, with the master charged with a variety of offences, it seems that the C-word - criminalisation - will once again be bandied about.
