Poland's shipyards are feeling intense pressure. Its three major yards face privatisation by the end of the year, under orders from the European Union. But they lack a focused shipping policy and practical strategies under Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski. "Overall, the market is very good. But Polish shipbuilding is experiencing some different and difficult circumstances," Gdansk shipyard CEO Andrej Buczkowski tells Fairplay.
