Rotterdam's municipal property department is under pressure to hammer out terms to secure a new head office for Odfjell Terminals.rnThe Norway-based company is transferring to either the Dutch port city or to Houston, moving its shipping activities from its current offices in Bergen. The move will provide 25 new jobs for highly trained workers at the new HQ. Zeger van Asch van Wijck, Odfjell Terminals' chief executive, tells Fairplay: "The final decision is to be made within a month. Houston is eager to attract new businesses, just like Rotterdam. If Rotterdam is to stick to its promise of encouraging international companies to move in, then it has to act accordingly."
