Lastweek, Bangladesh banned the scrapping of the cruise ship Norway in its territory after the Star Cruises vessel was reportedly bought for demolition by a Chittagong breaker for $12M. Dhaka's decision came only a day after President Jacques Chirac (pictured) ordered the ageing French aircraft carrier Clemenceau back to France following an increasingly embarrassing campaign conducted by environmentalists.
