GFI, the inter-dealer broking group that poached an experienced dry-cargo team from Galbraith's last month, has named John Wright to handle its dealings with the Forward Freight Agreement Brokers Association (FFABA). Wright's London-based FFA appointment is evidence that GFI has arrived as a major player, Steve McMillan, senior MD for Europe, tells Fairplay: "With this new desk we now have a comprehensive global coverage of freight - both wet and dry, physicals and derivatives."
