Resentment is sweeping through London's forward freight agreement broker community in reaction to plans by NOS and IMAREX to merge ownership. Fears abound that the tie-up will reduce competition in the FFA sector. "This will eventually result in higher trading and hedging costs for shipping companies,"the Forward Freight Agreement Brokers' Association warned in 5 April statement.
