For almost two decades, Petro-terminal de Panama (PTP) was the most successful company in Panama after the Panama Canal. Through its ports of Charco Azul and Chiriqui Grande and the 131 km-long pipeline, PTP moved 2.7Bn barrels of Alaskan crude oil from the Pacific Coast to the Atlantic Coast.
