I appreciated Mr. Benenson's recent Airwork article [March 2010] about his flight with the passenger who was very interested in aviation. I am a firm believer in taking every opportunity to demonstrate aviation to interested individuals and show them how safe and enjoyable it can be. I was troubled, however, after reading several paragraphs about the importance of clear communication (which also involves listening), to read that he was listening to "50s music on XM radio."
