In the July issue of Flying Dick Collins mentioned having installed GAMI injectors in his airplane with disappointing results. He also reported having little luck running his engine with the exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs) on the lean side of peak. My own experiences have been different. (In what follows, temperatures are Fahrenheit, I use the abbreviations LOP and ROP for "on the lean side of peak EGT" and "on the rich side of peak EGT," and I generally omit the word "degrees.").
