Key Publishing has a recently formed its own book production arm and a new addition to the portfolio is this mostly photographic study of RAF aircraft during the Cold War. After the basic explanatory history and a narrative on camouflage and dispersal, the reader is treated to a host of colour photographs showing RAF jets in all their glory. The Phantom, Lightning, Harrier, Buccaneer, air defence and ground attack Tornado and Jaguar are among those featured, along with supporting types such as the Shackleton, Victor and Canberra. Jets operated by other NATO air arms pop up occasionally while further chapters explore the air defence of Germany, air-to-air refuelling and ground attack training.
