It's a delight when you discover a clothing accessory that reflects your aviation passion, yet still maintains a degree of subtlety... at first. These silk pocket squares from Otway 8 Orford fit this description perfectly; they'll add a dash of colour to any suit jacket or blazer - but will really make an impression when whipped out in a debonair manner to reveal the beautiful, bespoke design. They are certainly not cheap, but do reflect the superior quality of production (hand-rolled/sewn) and feature visuals from respected artists, such as David Bent and Richard Knight. Choose from the mighty Avro Vulcan, Supermarine Spitfire or an evocative Battle of Britain skyscape - although a Red Arrows Hawk version is also available for those who favour more modern aircraft. All are truly stunning and extremely fashionable. Our sample of the Spitfire product, branded Lone Fighter, was impressive, with that unmistakeable cool-to-the-touch softness of high-grade silk, but also due to the stout and classy presentation box. A splendid gift, or an indulgent 'I deserve this after lockdown' treat... either way, these are a winner.
