A new owner is being sought for what is believed to be the sole surviving Focke-Wulf Fw 189 Uhu (Eagle Owl). The distinctive twin-boom aircraft was used by the Luftwaffe for reconnaissance on the Eastern Front during World War Two. This example, Wk Nr 2100, crashed in Russia after being attacked by Soviet Hawker Hurricanes on May 4, 1943. It was recovered from a forest south of Murmansk and brought to the UK during 1992 - it has been under restoration for many years.
