The fuselage of HS Nimrod R.1 XV249 began its final journey on March 11, travelling by road from Kemble, Gloucestershire, to the RAF Museum Cosford in Shropshire, where it will soon be placed on display. The wings and some remaining components will be delivered in the near future and the jet will then be re-assembled on site, before going on static display.
