Beginning with the acquisition of Venture Sales Croup, a foodservice sales agency, Acosta Sales & Marketing purchased foodservice sales and marketing brokers throughout the U.S. and expanded its foodservice reach from the East Coast to Hawaii. Under Mark Hayden, appointed Acosta's foodservice division's president in 2012, the broker announced its commitment to build the leading foodservice agency platform in the U.S., and its 16 acquisitions in 2012 will contribute to that goal.
