Steelcase Inc., the world's foremost designer and manufacturer of office furnishings, is headquartered in Grand Rapids, Mich. For more than 40 years, Steelcase has attributed its overwhelming industry-leading success to its company planes. It uses its Dassault Falcon 2000 LX and Falcon 900 EX to bring customers to its facilities, which is a major boost to profits and shareholder value, according to Glenn Jones, Steelcase's director of aviation. "This is a relationship business. When prospective customers are here, they get a picture of the total quality of the company," he says.
