The problems at Japan's Fukushima Daiichi nuclear energy facility after the devastating earthquake and tsunami in March prompted concern about safety and raised questions about the future of nuclear energy. As a result, scrutiny of our industry, always high, has become even more intense. We understand and welcome this additional interest, and are responding to the challenge to become even more transparent and accessible to regula tory agencies, government officials and the public. Our industry is aggressively studying the events that occurred in Japan and will apply lessons learned to make nuclear energy even safer. U.S.
