Bambi Holzer Has Done A Mas-terful job burnishing her reputation as a trusted financial expert. The 50-year-old broker has appeared on the Today show and NBC Nightly News. Her fourth book, Financial Bliss, hit stores two years ago, and in 2008 USA Today turned to her to dispense financial advice to couples. In her Beverly Hills, Calif, office just off Rodeo Drive, Holzer displays a picture of herself with Pope John Paul II.rnNot on display: her regulatory rap sheet. It details complaints from 54 customers that have resulted in Holzer and her employers shelling out a combined $11.6 million in settlements since 1990. During that time Holzer was fired from one firm, resigned from two others amid considerable acrimony, was personally fined $100,000 for professional misconduct and was suspended for 21 days by industry regulators. Yet this plague of troubles has been little more than a speedrnbump to Bambi, as she likes to be known in the business.
