In your editorial "When Capital Finds No Place to Hide" (Mar. 30, p. 20) you state that in Fiji "the coups are friendly, with executions kept to a minimum." As the American owners of an 806-acre plantation on the South Pacific island of Koro, we appreciate your promotion of Fiji as a "future tax haven" but hope you realize that no one has ever died in any political coup there. We can, however, advise you that the Fiji government has had a unique no-tax policy on any tourism-related development for an ongoing 20-year period.
