In the spring of 2007 british artist Julie Myers was chosen for a $100,000 two-month artist's residency at Adobe Systems' offices in San Francisco. Myers, camera phone in hand, walked up to strangers and asked them to name their favorite place nearby and give directions. Myers then documented the way with video, photos and maps. No Adobe product innovation came out of this. But you can take a look at julie9.org.
