Our Opinions Channel has a new direction and a new editor, distinguished editorialist Tunku Varadarajan, who will be building the preeminent forum for the voice and agenda-setting debate that readers have come to expect from Forbes.com. That means pithy, predictive and plain-spoken, often contrarian and always of that entrepreneurial Forbesian cast of mind. His first task has been to recruit 16 columnists, chosen for their expertise and provocative ideas. They include Richard Epstein, law professor at the University of Chicago and Fellow at Stanford University's Hoover Institution, whose column, "The Libertarian," will appear every Tuesday; Nouriel Roubini, economist from the Stern Business School at NYU, who will tell us what werncan do to save the economy in "Doctor Doom"; and Peter Robinson, a former Reagan White House speechwriter who will pen the "Man Friday" column.
