Money is nice. it can buy us time. it can strip away worry. That you read FORBES means you take the subject of money seriously―and you should. Money is worthy of our thoughts, our desires, our dreams, our work. (Sorry, Paul Johnson, but the billionaires I know―Bill Gates, Larry Ellison, et al.―seem thoroughly happy.) But in the final analysis what makes us happy or regretful is not only money but if our lives have found purpose. Have we made a positive difference? Have we influenced people? Have we pursued our best talent?
