In it, Snapple rhapsodized about the glory of someday becoming the world's third-largest beverage company after Coca-Cola and Pepsi. That will finally happen next month, when Snapple's $1.45 billion acquisition by Cadbury Schweppes is complete. Too bad London-based Cadbury isn't enjoying its bronze status in the $76 billion beverage industry.
