Newly elected British Frozen Food Federation (BFFF) president, Peter Allen, called on the frozen food industry to embrace the 'green shoots' of economic recovery. Industry body BFFF welcomed the newly elected president at a packed industry gathering on the 26th November at London's Hilton Park Lane. In his speech Mr Allan said: "Recovery can't come soon enough for those operating in food service, whilst the retail market has become accustomed to the benefit of hard pressed consumers turning to frozen. Both sectors will be facing the new challenge and planning how to deal with the new market conditions."
