NF/B is a new feature of World Future Review, assembling concise information on recently published futures-relevant books, as well as soon-to-be-published items still in the publisher's pipeline. It lacks the depth of the abstracts and cross-references published in Future Survey, but should compensate for this by its breadth and timeliness. "Futures-relevant" encompasses thinking about trends, forecasts, scenarios, proposals, systems and system changes, and potential "paradigm breakers" (new ways to approach problems).rnNF/B seeks to enable readers and scanners to gain an overview of what is being published in the English language, and thus a quick sense of the Zeitgeist of these troubled and turbulent times. Secondly, it provides concise information on specific titles that may prove to be important to WFR readers. Learning about just two or three key books per year - books that one might not otherwise discover for months or years after publication, if ever - would well repay the time spent compiling this unique list. This will lead to accelerated and enhanced understanding of current problems and future possibilities. Let us know how this works for you, and suggest how we might make it better.
