If climate change and population growth continue at their current pace, farming as we know it will no longer exist in 50 years. The floods and droughts that have come with climate change are wreaking havoc on traditional farmland, while population increases will continue to impinge on farmland. But there is a solution that is surprisingly within reach: "move most farming into cities, and grow crops in tall, specially constructed buildings" with transparent walls and ceilings.
