摘要

Table 1 serves as a diagnosis of the problems with the curriculum of the department. Part two of the Delphi survey, its findings presented in Table 2, makes the planning of an effective renovation possible. Globalization, computerization, and professionalization are the three directions for the future advancement of criminal justice higher education. The Delphi survey results in this regard offer empirical guidelines for future curriculum planning. In response to the future change in corrections, for example, more psychology courses oriented toward teaching counseling and rehabilitation skills should be offered. Students become more proficient practitioners in the field as a result. Detailed planning should be made on the basis of the findings as well as with reference to individual program characteristics of single institutes of criminal justice higher education. It would take another series of Delphi survey to explore the courses that should be revised, replaced, or added. Nevertheless, the directions for follow-up studies are revealed.
