摘要

Transient Electronics, as an emerging technology, is currently in the early research and development stage. The technology is expected to pave the way for highly innovative products with the ability to disintegrate themselves. The business opportunities for players in this versatile domain lie closely with the pace with which TE moves along the technology life cycle. Major stakeholders are government entities and conglomerates who are pushing the boundaries of the technology to create a market for TE. Transient electronics is currently in the R&D phase of TLC. The dynamism of the innovation landscape has been largely due to the substantial capital inducement by government agencies. The major strategic questions faced by technology developers at this stage are given below.
