Connecticut's congressional delegation is urging President Obama to create a marine monument off the coast of New England, despite pushback from some fishermen. Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) led the delegation - consisting entirely of Democrats - in writing the president a letter voicing support for using the Antiquities Act to preserve canyons and seamounts about 150 miles off the coast.
