Mining companies have joined industries pressing U.S. EPA to review a proposed rule on the recycling and reuse of hazardous waste. The National Mining Association and Barrick Gold Corp. expressed their concerns last week in a meeting with the White House Office of Management and Budget and Council of Environmental Quality.
