Tnhe 17nthnInternational Hypoxia Symposium organizednby Robert Roach and Peter Hackett opened at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise with the usual Tuesday eveningnreception. This was an excellent time to catch up with oldnfriends and make new ones. Hypoxia and Cancer was thenhighlighted topic for these meetings which, as usual, were anresounding success. Only a sampling of the presentations isndescribed below
