Rosstyn, Va.-based National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) commends the President's commitment to the development of a 21 * century electrical grid as outlined in A Policy Framework for the 21st Century Grid: Enabling Our Secure Energy Future, which was issued by the executive office of the president for the National Science & Technology Council in June. The event brought together key industry stakeholders and government officials to discuss the opportunities and challenges of modernizing America's electrical infrastructure and to advance the national dialogue on the grid's importance to job creation, energy security, and American competitiveness.
