More than 170 golfers gathered August 10 at Ironwood Golf Course in Sussex, Wisconsin, to participate in the Fifth Annual Jerry Maahs Memorial Golf Outing. Farsurpassing previous years, participants raised US$56,000forthe Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. Alto-Shaam founder Jerry Maahs passed away from lymphoma in 2006. The following year, Alto-Shaam employees organized the first of what has become an annual charity event in an effortto help find a cure for the disease. Sincethen, Alto-Shaam employees and friends have raised US$123,129for cancerresearch.
